3 Years
One evolving strategy, compounded year over year
A three-year strategy that grew from national awareness into a self-sustaining healthcare referral system, connecting more people living with dementia to support and measuring success by real engagement rather than impressions.
The Challenge
First Link was a trusted program that too many families still could not find. Awareness alone was never going to close that gap. The task was to build a dependable referral pathway, one that reached caregivers where they already were and the physicians, clinics and pharmacies they already trusted, while holding every marketing dollar to a measurable next step rather than impressions.
The Approach
Intent Media treated the work as one strategy compounded over three years, not three campaigns restarted. The first year established national awareness among caregivers and families; the second sharpened targeting and media efficiency; the third reached past the consumer to the healthcare professionals families turn to first. Consumer media, practitioner education and field engagement were carried under a single plan, each year's evidence underwriting the next, so awareness steadily became infrastructure.
The Outcome
The program drove more than 64,000 visits to First Link, educated over 500 healthcare locations and surfaced a warm pipeline of clinics and pharmacies asking their local Society to follow up. More lasting than any single result, it turned a seasonal awareness campaign into a measurable referral pathway that keeps working long after the media goes quiet.
The goal was never more impressions. It was more people connected to support.
